IPNA Annual Conference 2017 – early bird rate now available

The conference, which is hosted by the Midlands Branch of the IPNA, boast a wealth of interesting speakers and IPNA members can now avail of an ’early bird’ registration rate of €75. The Conference is also open to non-members (registration details below).

Amongst the speakers are Mary O’Neill, a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Sexual Health and Alex Kelly, from the Irish Pain Nurses and Midwives Society.

Other speakers include; John Lonergan, the former Governor of Mountjoy Jail in Dublin, and author, who will discuss how to be happy, based on his life experience; Dr Mark Murphy, from the Irish College of General Practitioners will discuss chronic disease management and nurse led clinics in General Practice; Damien Edwards, a behavioural psychologist, will give a talk called ’Thinking Yourself Free’ – an introduction to cognitive behavioural tools for effective healthcare interventions and Michelle Russell, Senior Nursing Consultant with REDTrain, will highlight the importance of careful and accurate documentation and achieving recognised standards within general practice.
