Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (CFI) has decided to postpone the annual conference that was due to take place in Galway, 3- 5 April 2020 in response to the Covid-19 epidemic.

“This was a decision that was taken after weighing up all the factors including the predicted greater impact of the virus on ‘at risk groups’ such as those with cystic fibrosis, but it quickly became apparent that we were sadly left with no choice,” according to CFI.

“The decision was taken now rather than closer to the conference out of courtesy to our members, our speakers, our sponsors and also to the Ardilaun Hotel which has been very understanding.”

The team at The Ardilaun Hotel have advised that any delegates who have booked their own bedroom directly with hotel have options available to them. All delegates who had registered for the conference will be contacted by Cystic Fibrosis Ireland to inform them of their options.
